These tools are powerful resources that help children express their feelings, build emotional awareness, and develop coping skills in a fun and age-appropriate way. Wayne Community Coalition Inc. donated journals to1st grade students and toy food sets with baskets to the Pre-K classrooms!
🖊️ The journals will give 1st graders a creative and personal space to express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas.

Through our newest initiative "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" we were able to provide Athanasius Episcopal Church in Brunswick, GA with toys, journals and, pull ups for the young ones. Thanks to our partnership with Fostering Bulloch!
With the help of our partnership with Fostering Bulloch, Beverly Hill, Long County Pre-K Director allowed us to provide fruit baskets, journals and other goodies to the small children in the Pre-K program.
Our focus is to expose students to letter sounds, sight words and CVC words. We also familiarize them with the local public library to promote summer reading and year-round learning. Email us to partner or volunteer for Camp Y.E.Z 2025.
This year we allowed Junior instructors to read books and assist campers with their daily activities. Peer learning helps in better retention of information. Studies show that students who teach others retain about 90% of what they learn, compared to 50% for those who learn through lectures
Wayne Community Coalition organized events for campers to visit the City Hall and meet the City Manager and staff, Press-Sentinel Local Paper to see how newspapers are made, and the local children's books authors came to read their books to our campers
2nd Harvest Emergency Crisis Location
RP3 will assist people who are transitioning from jail/prison back into their community. The program aims to secure apprenticeship opportunities and employment with solar panel installs. For those without work experience, the program will provide skills development and workplace readiness sessions. Lastly, our focus is to aid those transitioning, in seeing the beauty and growing a love for their community through serving and volunteering.
The Grace Place will be the key to helping clients secure permanent housing, establish income, develop their children, improve their health to regain stability and self-sufficiency.
The Whole Woman Experience is here to bring resources and information to women in rural communities. We will focus on the pillars of Mental Health Awareness, Physical Health & Wellness and Professional Development with information on future workplace advancements with A.I.
Melissa Thomas discussed nutrition, weight and blood pressure during the experience. Thomas also informed attendees, how to combat problems with preventative care appointments, monitoring food intake and being physically active.
"You can't heal what you will not confront." Ta'teaona Jacobs shed light on trauma and how to begin the journey towards healing for women. Jacobs made attendees aware that trauma normally starts in ones childhood so she works with children to assist in trauma resolution in the early stages.
